Kitchen Door Virtual Studio
Join us for the Kitchen Door virtual cooking class experience! For each of our classes, you will join your Chef Instructor for a live virtual cooking class, which includes about 45-75 minutes of interactive instruction and Q&A.
Recipes are sent before class.
All ingredients (except salt and pepper) are included in your class kit. No substitutions in the delivered class kit, but ingredient adaptations can be recommended by the chef.
Zoom link will be emailed to you, can be used on a computer, tablet, or mobile device.
Depending on your device's volume, wireless headphones or an external speaker may be necessary for clear instruction.
We welcome students to leave their microphones on and chime in with questions throughout the class. Ask away!
Classes are between 6-10 connections to ensure all students can participate.
What's in your kit?
You will receive all the ingredients for the class in your kit. Please note that certain items will be prepared in advance by the Kitchen Door team to ensure a seamless virtual cooking class experience. (ex. pulled pork)

Class length varies from 45-75 minutes, depending on the level of instruction and preparation needed.

Full payment is required in advance for all bookings.
Gift Certificates are regarded as payment. You can book online using your gift certificate code prior to checkout for payment. Please note that gift certificates cannot be used to pay for private events.
All adult classes are for 19+, unless otherwise stated in the class description.
If we haven’t reached the minimum number of 10 participants for a class, we reserve the right to cancel the class up to 7 days prior to its date. Kitchen Door will inform registered participants within 7 days of the class date and we will give you the option to either get a full refund or
re-book for another class later in a form of a credit note valid for 12 months.
If we must cancel a class due to unforeseen circumstances, you will be notified as soon as possible, and we will give you the option to either get a full refund or re-book for another class
at a later date in a form of a credit note valid for 12 months.
As a fully operational cooking school, The Studio utilizes nuts, wheat, dairy, sugar and other raw natural ingredients and wholefoods on our premises every day. The Studio is aware of potential allergies to these foods and the severity of the reactions some individual may experience.
In the interest of safety and comfort of everybody attending our cooking classes, The Studio has a “General Public Allergy Policy”. This policy applies to all people entering the premises, whether you attend a general cooking class or a private event.

The Studio reserves the right to refuse entry to a cooking class or a private event on the day (with no refund or class transfer available) if the participant has a known allergy and hasn’t informed us prior to attending the class or hasn’t filled in the indemnity form.
GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS WHEN ATTENDING THE STUDIO
START TIME: Doors open 15 minutes prior to event start time. All classes start with a 15 minute reception as guests arrive, with welcome snacks and drink.
If a participant is late for a class, it is their responsibility to catch up with the rest of the class and minimize disruption as The Studio instructors will not have the time to interrupt the class and begin again for every late participant.
PARTICIPANT HEALTH RESPONSIBILITY: If you have become ill within 48 hours before your class with any diseases such as colds and flu, diarrhea, vomiting, etc. we kindly ask that you don’t attend class. Those sorts of diseases can be spread through food, so we need to protect all our participants. In this scenario please refer to our cancellation policy.
The Studio reserves the right to refuse entry to a cooking class on the day (with no refund or class transfer available) if a participant is deemed unwell and at the risk of infecting others during the class.
PARTICIPANT ATTIRE: Demo and Dine – please note that you will be seated the entire class therefore no specific participant attire required.
For all other classes, you will be on your feet most of the time. Please be advised NO high heels permitted and closed-toe shoes are required.
CLASS INGREDIENTS: As we are committed to serve you only the freshest produce, please note that some of the class menus may vary slightly depending on product availability on the day.
CLASS RECORDING: Some classes may be recorded, and part of the content may be used for promoting future classes on The Studio’s social media and other promotional platforms.
RIGHT TO REFUSE: The Studio reserves the rights to refuse a participant to attend a class if the instructor or one of his assistants feels they are intoxicated or may cause harm to themselves or anyone else attending the scheduled class or event.
RELEASE OF LIABILITY: When participating in a cooking class or event where the participants will be around or using sharp and potentially dangerous tools suitable to a kitchen environment, the participant releases, indemnifies and excludes The Studio and its employees from any and/or ALL liability of any kind for any damage or injury incurred while attending or visiting The Studio.
DAMAGE/LOSS OF PERSONAL PROPERTY: The Studio will take all necessary care but accepts no responsibility for the damage to or loss of merchandise left in the venue prior to, during or after a class or event. The Studio is not responsible for the loss or damage of personal items in any form. If a participant does happen to leave an item in class, the participant has 14 days to retrieve the item otherwise The Studio will donate it to charity.
DAMAGE/LOSS of THE STUDIO PROPERTY: The student or function organizer may be held financially responsible for any damage to or loss of The Studio property during the class or event. The cost of repairing any damage to walls, doors or other parts of the property as a result of inappropriate conduct will be charged to the person or hiring company involved.
CIRCUMSTANCES BEYOND THE CONTROL OF THE STUDIO: Should The Studio be unable to provide for your class or event due to circumstances beyond the control of The Studio, The Studio is not responsible for any costs, damages or expenses that you may suffer or incur over and above the cost of the class.

The Studio does not offer cash, credit or debit card refunds. Please carefully read the following information on our policy regarding transfers, cancellation and fees.
We appreciate advanced notice should you need to reschedule a booked cooking class.
Participants who provide notice 14 days (or more) prior to the booked class will be exempt from transfer fees. Reschedules made less than 13 days prior to the booked class are subject to a $10 booking transfer fee. All class transfers will need to take place upon providing reschedule notice via phone and used towards a class within 8 weeks of the originally booked class. Should there be a
wait-list for the class that you wish to reschedule, and The Studio can fill your spot with alternate guests, the transfer fees will be waived.
Cancellations within 7 days of the booked class and no-shows forfeit the full course fee.
Please note that it is the responsibility of the participant to arrange for suitable transportation before and after a cooking class. The Studio does not allow refunds or transfers due to weather conditions.
In exceptional circumstances, we reserve the right to cancel published classes. Customers' whose bookings are affected will be transferred to a suitable alternative.
